Registration Requirements
The Chemeketa Community College Athletics Department would like to welcome you to our school and the Storm family. The following are initial steps you will need to complete as a Chemeketa student athlete to get you started. Apply to Chemeketa
The first thing to do is APPLY to the school if you haven’t already applied use the link - https://join.chemeketa.
Once you have completed the application, you will receive a welcome letter from the admissions department. This will provide you access to your student username, student ID#, email account, and student apps. Please give your K# to your coach upon receiving it.
While waiting for your letter, check out the following to help you pay for school
Federal Aid: By filling out the FAFSA form https://
Oregon Promise Grant: The Oregon Promise Grant application is open now for students who will graduate between October 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026 can apply now.
Submit the Oregon Promise application in the OSAC Student Portal. https://app.
You will also be required to submit the FAFSA or ORSAA for the year that you will start college to be eligible. Please list Chemeketa Community College on the FAFSA and ORSAA.

Set up your email

Follow the directions to activate your My.Chemeketa email as this is the way college services, faculty, the athletic department, will communicate with you. A suggestion is to add your school email to your phone for easy access. You can also add the google calendar to your phone which is also useful.
Complete Placement Assessment
Go to the placement assessment document at the following link and complete so we can properly assign your class placement for writing and math. https://docs.google.com/
It will take 3-5 days for results once completed
Complete New Student Orientation
You next need to complete the Chemeketa online orientation as directed, at the link below, to be cleared to register. Online Orientation
Download EAB Navigate Student App
You will now need to download the navigate app for advising, registration, and navigating other academic information at the below link. https://apps.apple.com/
Schedule Advising Appointment w/ your Athletic Academic Advisor, Traci Stephenson
To schedule an athletic or academic appointment please use the system, Navigate, located in your Chemeketa MyApps https:/
When scheduling for your appointment choose Athletics for a Service Area and Traci is the only option available. Registration for new students opens on Tuesday, May 26th.
If you have college credit or advanced placement you will need to have an official transcript, from the institution where you received the college credit from, or the advanced placement form sent to evaluation@chemeketa.edu. You will also need to send an unofficial to Traci, traci.stephenson@chemek
Once you have completed these steps you will be ready to register for classes, this begins Tuesday, May 26th.
You will receive numerous general Chemeketa Community College emails, please read them, but for Advising and other service needs purposes please use the Chemeketa Athletics
