Gerhett Moser is a dedicated and accomplished baseball coach with a strong background in both playing and coaching the sport. He has been the head baseball coach since fall 2021, following a stint as an assistant coach from fall 2020 to fall 2021. Prior to these roles, Moser served as a graduate assistant coach at Concordia University from 2018 to 2020, where he also played baseball during the 2016-2017 seasons. Before his time at Concordia, he played at Chemeketa Community College from 2014 to 2015. As a player, he excelled as an outfielder and left-handed pitcher, achieving a career batting average of .297 in college.

Moser's exceptional coaching skills were recognized when he was named the 2023 NWAC South Coach of the Year. As a player, he earned several honors, including 2nd team All-League Outfield in the GNAC in 2016 and Preseason All-West Region Outfield in 2017. He was also named to the 2nd team All-NWAC South as an outfielder in 2014 and won a Gold-glove in the Nwac South in 2015. His high school career was highlighted by a 5A state championship win with Wilson High School in 2012.

Throughout his coaching career, Moser has successfully guided 18 players to continue their baseball journeys at 4-year institutions across the NAIA, DIII, DII & DI levels. His extensive experience includes work with Baseball Northwest as a manager and coach at Prospect Evaluation Camps and the Northwest Championships, managing camps for USA Baseball, and serving as head coach for MoundTime 18u. He also held coaching roles at NW Star Academy from 2017 to 2020, was the associate head coach at Wilson High School in 2018, and was the Head coach of the Portland Gherkins summer baseball team from 2020-2023 where he won a Wild Wild West league championship in 2023. Additionally, he worked as an associate manager for Nike Summer Camps with the Portland Pickles. Moser also prioritzes academics with his teams averaging a 3.0 GPA over his 4-year tenure.

Moser is driven by his personal mission to build better young men through the game of baseball, emphasizing development both on and off the field. This stems from his own personal development that came through his experience as a college baseball player and the mentors that helped him become a better young man as he entered adulthood.
