Right from the outset, Chemeketa demonstrated their offensive prowess, netting four goals in the first half. Ruiz also showcased his scoring abilities with a goal of his own at 17:17, adding to his assist tally. Before halftime, Emmett Limbird (Pictured-23) added to the scoreboard with an unassisted strike, leaving the visitors trailing 0-4.
Southwestern Oregon regrouped in the second half, with Tyrell Curry emerging as the standout player. Despite Curry's efforts, Chemeketa's Tristan Olvera and sealed the victory with a fifth goal at 71:34.
