**Dominant Lower Columbia Overwhelms Chemeketa with a Late Surge**
In game one at Belmodis Field Lower Columbia decisively defeated the home team 13-1, showcasing their hitting prowess and pitching efficiency to secure a resounding victory.
The game began quietly, with both teams struggling to find their rhythm in the first inning. However, Lower Columbia started to make their move in the second inning when K. Mackin's sacrifice fly brought home R. Brown, giving the visitors an early edge. The momentum continued in the third inning as H. Brooks' sacrifice fly extended their lead to 2-0.
Chemeketa's sole highlight came in the bottom of the third when Mcka. Dodge hit a solo home run, narrowing the margin to 2-1.
Lower Columbia added another run in the fourth inning through an RBI double by A. Eib. The scoreline stood at 3-1 entering the sixth inning, but it was here that Lower Columbia truly erupted. A ten-run surge, marked by a barrage of hits and aggressive base running, sealed the game's fate.
Lower Columbia's pitching from J. Terry and A. Eib was instrumental yielding only one run while striking out 14 Storm batters.
In game two Lower Columbia continued their hot play, securing a decisive 12-0 victory in just five innings.
In the first inning, Lower Columbia jumped to a 3-0 lead, highlighted by an RBI single from B. Loose and another RBI single by J. Eder. Continuing the offensive onslaught in the second inning, Lower Columbia expanded their lead with four more runs. B. Loose, doubled to bring home L. Grumbois. H. Brooks and A. Baumgart also contributed an RBI single, helping to establish a commanding 7-0 advantage. Lower Columbia added to their lead with a run in the third inning courtesy of another RBI single from A. Baumgart. The fourth inning saw two more runs, scored by D. Ambriz and G. Silveria. The final run came in the fifth inning when S. Ancheta hit a solo home run, capping Lower Columbia's score at a formidable 12.
Pitching was equally impressive for Lower Columbia, with C. Fake delivering a strong performance in five innings allowing no Storm runs.
Even though the Storm couldn't manage a run they were able to scatter 5 hits.
