Game one saw the Mt Hood softball team showcased their prowess in a commanding 14-6 victory over Chemeketa at the Mt. Hood Community College.
The game started explosively for Mt Hood, who scored seven runs in the first inning. Strong performances from batters M. Walker, R. Wiseman, and I. Brauckmil, among others, contributed to an early lead, with Wiseman's two-RBI double standing out as a critical moment. By the end of the second inning, Mt Hood had secured an 8-0 lead.
Chemeketa's comeback attempt in the third inning was marked by J. Rule's two-RBI homer, which initiated a five-run rally. However, despite closing the gap to 8-5, Chemeketa struggled to maintain momentum against Mt Hood's relentless offense. In the fourth inning, Mt Hood extended their lead with G. Hodgson's two-RBI double. The clincher came in the sixth inning when S. Yeats delivered a three-RBI home run, sealing Mt Hood's triumphant 14-6 result.

In game two Mt. Hood Community College outslugged Chemeketa Community College, securing a 20-12 victory.
Despite a quiet first inning from both teams, Mt. Hood exploded in the second inning, scoring 10 runs and setting the pace for the rest of the match. Key contributions came from M. Walker, who drove in five runs including a two-run homer in the fourth, and L. Bravo, who capped off the scoring with a grand slam in the sixth inning.
Chemeketa showed resilience despite the early setback. They steadily chipped away at Mt. Hood's lead, posting two runs in both the second and third innings before mounting an impressive seven-run rally in the fifth inning. Mcke. Dodge was a standout performer for Chemeketa, going deep with a solo homer in the sixth inning, adding to the team's spirited comeback attempt.
